I once vowed to restrict myself to pencil drawings for the rest of my life. I felt strongly about my exclusive devotion to the monochrome of lead.
But then one day, standing in front of a painting in the Salisbury Wing of the National Gallery, I awakened to the miracle of colour. My captivation by pigment was immediate and eventually all-consuming.
Lately I have been exploring movement, sometimes within awkward interactions.
Born and raised in Canada, I lived several years in Paris, and am now based in London, UK.
